Q: How frequent are summer rehearsals?

A: At Theater On The Fence, we want everyone to be able to work theater into their lives. Over the summer, we usually have 1-2 weeknight rehearsals per week depending on the amount of time we have to put the production up, as well as 1 weekend rehearsal per week. Once it gets closer to the show, rehearsals may become more frequent, and the week leading up to the show, there will be a rehearsal every night. We have the ability to work around week-long vacation conflicts, work shifts, etc., depending on each show's demands which will be outlined at auditions for each show.

Q: Does Theater On The Fence cost money?

A: We do require each actor to pay for their own script, which could be roughly $10 - $20. We will also charge a fee for actors which goes towards costumes, set, space rental, etc. While the fee fluctuates, it has never been more than $40 since this organization began. At Theater On The Fence, we do not want money to be the reason that anyone decides to not participate. Please talk to the director of the production if you need help paying the fee. Production Staff does not have to pay the fee, unless they are also acting in the show.
